Chemeca2012

The influence of chemical engineers has been felt throughout Australian and New Zealand Industries for a long time. Chemical engineers have played a unique role with their big picture perspective and systems-thinking approach, and without them, the dairy, meat, pulp and paper, mineral, metals, energy and water sectors would not be the mainstay of the Australian and New Zealand economies that they are today.

Chemeca is the annual conference of the Australian and New Zealand community of chemical engineers and industrial chemists.

Chemeca2012 will feature a broad integrated program:

  • Invited Plenary Lectures and Keynote Addresses by Expert Speakers from Industry and Academia
  • Carbon Tax Forum: Expert Panel -Presentations, Discussion, Questions
  • Papers and Presentations by Conference registrants:

Chemical Engineering Practice; Cutting-edge Research & Development; Education and Community

Chemeca 2012 will showcase both the breadth and the focus of the profession through invited plenary lectures and keynote addresses, and presentations of peer reviewed papers by delegates.
